Working with your music library

Although Encore tries hard to find the details of every CD that you rip, sometimes the information just isn’t available. In these situaions you will want to add or edit the Artist, Album or Track information in your Music Library.

Note

Getting the CD details requires that the Encore is able to access the Internet. If there is a problem with your Internet connection then the Encore will not be able to find anything!

Compilations

The ENCORE will attempt to retrieve compilation data, but if it is not available you can use the “MAKE COMPILATION” feature.

Note

In some situations, compilations may be seperated by “Artist” in your Music Library.

Search for the first track on the compilation and click on the “MAKE COMPILATION” icon.

_images/compilation1.png

The track will now be available under “Various Artists”

_images/compilation2.png

In some situations all tracks on the compilation will come together. If not you must search and apply this method to each individual track.

Search for the second track on the compilation and click on the “MAKE COMPILATION” icon.

_images/compilation3.png

The second track will now be available under “Various Artists” with the same album title.

_images/compilation4.png

Continue this process until you have added all of the tracks on your compilation.
